"Crime prevention", by formal definition, is the anticipation, recognition, and the appraisal of crime risk and the initiation of some action to remove or reduce it. In practical application, crime prevention is a pattern of attitudes and behaviors directed both at reducing the threat of crime and enhancing the sense of safety and security, to positively influence the quality of life in our society, and to help develop environments where crime cannot flourish.

Meetings
Our Crime Prevention Officers hold monthly meetings with Loss Prevention personnel from area retailers to discuss current trends and reduce the number of retail thefts.
