Wandering Prevention Program

As part of the Brown Deer Police Department’s values, we strive to serve the community with compassion.  We want to provide the highest level of service to our community and provide our employees with the tools to meet the law enforcement needs of the Village.  We recognize some residents may have conditions such as Autism or Memory Disorders and the Department hopes to assist these people and their caregivers by providing door alarms at no cost.

Please review the information on our Wandering Prevention Program Flyer  and complete the Wandering Prevention Program Registration Form if you believe your loved one would benefit from door alarms.  After the registration is submitted, a Brown Deer Police Officer will respond to install the door alarms and obtain critical information to help first responders in the event your loved one goes missing.

Questions regarding the Wandering Prevention Program and completed registration forms can be directed to Lieutenant Amy Koeppel by email.
