The Patrol Division is the largest division of the Brown Deer Police Department. Patrol officers provide the initial response to all requests for police services, respond to emergencies, protect people and property, maintain order, prevention of crime and enforce motor vehicle laws and criminal laws. The Patrol Division is overseen by the Patrol Division Commander (Lieutenant). The division is divided into three shifts and each shift is supervised by two Sergeants. The Patrol Division operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
